Sales Charts w/e 11/11/07
With Master Chief gone, it’s time for some other games to have some glory at the top.
It’s refreshing to see no Singstar titles in this week’s chart either!
Thanks again to Gfk, this week’s sales reflect the week ending 11/11/07.
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat - X360
- Guitar Hero 3 (Bundle) - PS2
- Guitar Hero 3 (Bundle) - X360
- Big Brain Academy Value - Wii
- Ratatouille - DS
- Crash of The Titans - PS2
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat - PS3
- Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat - PC/Mac
- Spyro Eternal Nights - PS2
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - Wii
Crash of the Titans was number one for just a week. No surprise really, considering the influx of great games lately.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat is a strong force in this week’s chart, with three different platform versions appearing in the top ten. The latest entrant in the Call of Duty series, CoD4 places emphasis on the modern battlefield with all new weaponry and technology. I have been tempted to buy this as I see a lot of people on Xbox Live switching from Halo 3 over to this game, but I must stick by my promise.
Plus, Guitar Hero 3 finally launched. The PS2 and X360 version made the charts… no love for the Wii version? I had to double check and see if there is was a later release date for the Wii version, VURP dates confirm it was released the same day *shrug*
Also, two big franchise titles have finally landed on the Wii. The ever-popular Brain Training series has finally been released, Big Brain Academy, is the sequel to the DS game. A great game that quickly helps to increase your cranial capacity. Plus Metroid Prime 3: Corruption sneaks into the final position for this week’s top ten. Metroid has had a really quiet release here in AU… I would be expecting Nintendo AU to be going nuts advertising this game as I know many fans have been hanging out for this game and a title with some decent longevity.
