Xbox 360 sales figures

Before I finished work for this year, Microsoft sent me one final press release for 2007, announcing that the Xbox 360 has sold 300,000 consoles in Australia and New Zealand.

According to the company, the Xbox 360 in Australia alone has sold an average of 6.6 games per console, which Microsoft says is a record for a console at this stage of its life cycle. Microsoft has also confirmed that 500,000 Xbox 360 accessories have been sold in Australia and New Zealand.
